A cosy cabin in beautiful archipelago environment about 25 minutes by car by Stockholm.
The cabin has 2 beds in one room and 1 bed in the second room. The rooms are separated by a curtain. There is space for an extra bed.
The kitchen is equipped with a little stove, oven, fridge,
microwave, kettle, coffeepercolator, toaster etc. There is a shower and toilet with cold and hot water. There is also radio/tv.
The cabin faces the south and has a little roof covered porch with access to out door furniture and a barbecue.
There is a big garden with lawns that can be used for ball games. Free
parking. Nice walks nearby and close to a marina and places where you can go swimming in the sea.
It is 2 km to the island´s largest swimming spot with cubicle, sandy beach, jetty and playground. There is kayak renting on the island. Tennis courts are located 500 m from the cabin.
Supermarket, a restaurant and bus stop 500 meters away.
The closest town, Vaxholm, is a popular archipelago destination for tourists, and lies 5 km away. There you will find restaurants and shops. You can also do lovely day trips from here by boat to Sandhamn, Grinda and Finnhamn among others. Other sights nearby include Vaxholm fortress and Bogesund castle.
Stockholm is 32 km away. Travel time takes about 30 mins by car, about 40 mins by bus or one hour by boat.

Bus
Take either direct bus number 680 that leaves from Humlegården in central
Stockholm for Ytterby or bus number 670 from Tekniska Högskolan. Get off at Engarn and change to bus number 682 for Ytterby, 500 meters to the cabin.
Car
Drive towards Norrtälje (E18) and turn right towards Vaxholm (road 274). After about 10 mins turn left towards Resarö. After 2 km you will reach a supermarket where the road ends. Turn right and immediately a left turn on to Ytterbystrandsvägen. Take the first right on to Svenoniusväg and then the first right again on to Furuvägen. Our house is on Furuvägen 5 which is the fourth house on the right. It is located about 300 meters from the supermarket.
