Rörö has fantastic nature. The entire western part is a nature reserve. Sheep and Icelandic horses graze there. Rörö has the best swimming in the northern archipelago of Gothenburg. Both sand beaches and cliffs.
There are shops there. Restaurant and café in the summer.
Rörö is also amazing in the fall, winter and spring. When the storm tears up the sea and whips up the water on the rocks.
Directions
Road 155 to Lilla Varholmen. Hönö ferry (yellow) to Hönö. At Hönö right at the roundabout towards Öckerö, Hälso and North Islands. In the north at Burö, the ferry (yellow) goes to Rörö. At Rörö, drive north to Apelviksvägen 24. Park on the grounds. The ferry shipping line has timetables. There is also a bus from Gothenburg C to Burö. See Västtrafik
