Description
Welcome to Kvarnstugan, which lies close to beech forests, fields, farms and meadows just over 25km east of Varberg, between Skällinge and Nösslinge. The cottage has been in the family for generations since 1922 and has been carefully refurbished in the past year.
In the past you would stop by the cottage for chat over a cup of coffee on the way to the mill, hence the name “The mill cottage”, Kvarnstugan.
In the area there are opportunities for a lot of activities such as hiking, Hallands trail is next to the cottage and Åkulla hiking trails are also nearby. There are a number of golf courses in the area, and there are great opportunities to ride a road bike, mountain bike or just enjoy the tranquillity. If you want to swim, we recommend the nearby Skällinge lake or if you prefer the sea, you can take the bus or the car to Varberg. There are also nice farm cafes and restaurants not too far from the cottage, (however you need a car) and shopping you can do in Ullared which is less than 20km from the cottage. The cottage has two newly renovated bedrooms, a room with a double bed and a room with a bunk bed. In the newly renovated living room there is a sofa, table, armchairs and a small stove. In the small kitchen there is a kitchen table with four chairs, a regular stove, a wood burning stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Of course there is also porcelain and what you need to cook or maybe bake a cake. Freezer is available in a nearby building. The bathroom has a WC and a shower in the bathtub. Outdoor furniture and barbecue is available. Bed linen is not available. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Fishing rights in Lake Neden and in Skällinge lake.

If you do not have a car, you can reach the cottage by bus from Varberg.

Directions
From Varberg: Drive road 153 towards Ullared. In Rolfstorp turn left towards Skällinge, in Skällinge turn right onto Nösslingevägen towards Karl-Gustav after about 4.3 km the cottage is situated on the left side next to the road.
