Welcome to the cute little cottage near Nösund’s seaside resort..
The cottage is perfect for a small family or a couple. With a green location, large terrace and the singing birds, here it is really the peace and quiet. Do you want to have some experience it is only 4 km to nice Nösund, a small fishing communities on western Orust.
THE ENTRANCE FLOOR
There is a living room with TV, A small sofa, 3 armchairs and a table. There is also a hall, toilet, washing machine, WC, sink and shower. The kitchen has a dining area, stove / oven and fridge / freezer, coffee maker and microwave.
FLOOR 2
Open plan. A smaller bedroom with 2 beds. A larger bedroom with 2 beds and a sofa bed.
Here you come out on the bridge that leads to the little hill.
NOTE: Check-in at the house is at the earliest at 17.00. But you can stay on the day of departure until 12.00.
THE SURROUNDINGS
The cottage is located in a rural environment with cows in the pastures. If you are lucky, you can see both moose and deer.
Large terrace in southwest location with barbecue and outdoor furniture. Parking by the plot. It is possible to get out into nature via a little road that turns into a path.
NÖSUND, swimming, hiking, restaurant and nature.
The old part of Nösunds heyday is well preserved. Nösund is a wonderful small community that has a little of everything but above all it is a seaside idyll. In Nösund you have two restaurants to choose from; the Sea Hotel & Spa and Nösundsgården, a very de-stressing garden under large trees and a salmon stream. Here you can sit down and eat something light and or enjoy something good to drink.
There is also a small harbor and great hiking opportunities as the Pilgrimsleden passes Nösund. If you bring a boat, you can launch it nearby. Or bring your kayak here for outstanding kayaking waters.
2 BEACHES
Nösund has two very nice bathing places, one for the smaller children, with a nice strip of sand and one for the slightly older children, with rocks, jumping tower and jetty.
To do on the island of Orust & Tjörn
“Enter the world of bees at Tavlebods honey farm”
Tavlebods honey farm, where you can see how bees live and produce honey. Here you also find “gofika” – a Swedish word for coffee and delicious pastry, and different honey products for sale. A day trip to Gullholmen or Kärringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik. The two islands have no cars and are lovely to visit.
The Pilgrimage Trail on Orust is 80 km long and connects eight churches. Töllås sheep farm has a wonderful café, where you also can buy vegetables from the garden, meat and wool products.

Buy the chair you sit on or the cup you drink from, everything can be bought at delicious food / café just 2 km from the house, welcome to ”Fröken Trulls” There is also a paddle court
TJÖRN
An exciting and different art experience. In the middle of a Bohuslän cultural landscape with traces from the Stone Age and grazing, a sculpture exhibition with world-leading artists can be arranged every summer. Sculpture in Pilane. is an experience for everyone, both big and small.
On Sundsby Manor There is also a restaurant here with very good meals and home-baked cakes in the courtyard café. In the summer you can buy freshly baked bread in the farm shop. They serve excellent “fika” (Swedish for coffee and pastry, coffee can be substituted with other beverages) and different honey products are for sale. Do not miss the watercolor museum in Skärhamn, and after the visit you can buy fresh seafood home to feast on. Climb up Tjörnekalv and you are rewarded with a breathtaking view – in the distance you can see Marstrand’s fortress. Or take the boat to picturesque Åstol with its densely built houses in old traditional style.
