TO DO AT ORUST & TJÖRN
Do not miss our ”strawberry place” lika we say in Sweden.
Learn about the bees’ life on Tavlebord’s honey farm, there is a café, food and a playground for Children. ”Fröken Trulls ( ”Miss Trulls”) and Morlanda garden, is a must if you want to have coffee or lunch, have a good beer, buy antique things and experience a lovely garden.
But do not forget all our nice fishing communities and car-free islands, such as Gullholmen and Käringön.
Do you like to hike there is the pilgrims hike where you wander through meadows & through woods between Orust’s churches.
At Tjörn, which is next door to Orust, where you will find Sundsby, where you can hike and by some lunch if you lika. There are also caves on sundsby. Also visit Pilarne, a sculpture park in a sheep farm.
