Description
The cottage is located at Swedens newest ski resort Idre Himmelfjäll. The cottage is newly built and is 95 square meters. Eight beds plus a sofa bed divided into two bedrooms and a larger loft. In the loft there is also a sofa/TV corner. The cottage is equipped with a wood-burning stove, sauna, PlayStation, fiber, washer/dryer and drying cabinet. A bathroom and an extra toilet. There is also a desk and office chair with screen, keyboard, mouse and all the cables so you just have to plug in your laptop if you want to work remotely. 200 meters to the lift and the cross-country trail around Himmelfjäll, which you can get on right below the cottage. Walking distance to ski rental and restaurant - Renen och älgen. In Idre there are three ski resorts Idre fjäll, Idre Himmelfjäll and Fjätervålen. Idre Fjäll can be reached by car in a few minutes while it takes about 20 minutes to Fjätervålens lift system. If you want to leave the car, the ski bus is an alternative. The ski bus is free and runs to the three facilities all day during the winter season. There is also plenty to do in Idre in spring, summer and autumn. Idre Fjäll is just a few minutes away and offers downhill, high-altitude skiing, mountain riding, an activity centre with indoor and outdoor pools, paddle tennis, bowling, rafting and much more. Städjan/Nipfjällets nature reserve is also just minutes away and there are hiking trails to suit everyone. Grövelsjöfjällen can be reached in about 30 minutes by car and there are also fantastic trails in real mountain nature. Fulufjället with many hiking trails and Swedens highest waterfall - Njupeskär is a day trip that is highly recommended.
Directions
When you arrive at Idre village, follow the signs to Nipfjället, Grängesåsvallen, Idre fjäll. After about 4 kilometers, turn left, Idre Himmelfäll Södra. Drive straight for about 300 meters, then turn right onto Merkuriusvägen and then left onto Lacerattavägen. The cottage is the first on the left. There is a small discreet number (1) on the facade.
