Be welcome in our new stuga for a great holiday or night. The stuga is situated in Norrboda, 500 meter away from the Gamla Stan. This is an ancient settlement that was build around 1600. This will help you imagine how Swedish people lived centuries ago. If you like, we can guide you through the settlement and tell you about it.
Around Norrboda there are many hiking trails or you can spend the day on one of the beaches. We know the best swimming locations of the area, which are extremely difficult to find.
The villages Furudal and Furudalsbruk are only ten kilometres away from the stuga and here you will find a bakery, a post office, a supermarket and a restaurant. There is also a golf court which is hidden in the middle of the forest; you do not need membership for this. Moreover, there is a Norwegian veteran museum and an old blacksmith’s shop which you visit. Rättvik and Mora are about 30-40 minutes away by car and have all major facilities. We know many hot spots in the area and would love to inform you.
We have built a tree house for the young adventurers this year. If they dare to stay overnight in the tree house, this is a possibility. The environment around the stuga is very child friendly; we have many facilities for children. There is a sandbox, a swing, and a climbing corner with a playgrond with balls.
For adults there is also much to do of course. There is a shooting track, a jeu de boules track or you can play badminton. There is a covered terrace and a grill place available.
