Living area: 160 sqm
Holidays on this island are not necessarily overexpensive and in cramped conditions.
This interesting accomodation dates from the 19th century, was a seed magazine in former times and has been converted nowadays into a holiday home for up to eight persons.
It is located at a historical farm in the locality of Endre, about 10 kilometers east of the island capital Visby.
The building has totally four floors but only the upper two floors are furnished and form your accomodation. Both floors have an open room solution with 80 square meters of living space each. From the highest floor you will have a miles long view of the Gotland scenery. The furniture/equipment is on the one hand simple and functional and on the other hand you will have all necessary things like WC, shower or microwave in order to enjoy the holidays.
However, because of the four floors and quite steep stairs the house is not suited for persons with walking difficulties or small children.
Apart from the beautiful bathing beaches of the island one day trip you should book at any rate, namely a visit to the medieval town of Visby with its ancient circular wall and its charming town center.
