In the other direction 2 km car / bike / walk, is Sunnanå Harbour where there is access to fishing, boating, hiking trails and a cozy harbor restaurant where entertainment is organized during the summer.

Course: Melleruds Golf Club. Very nice course 18-hole and 9-hole pay and play and a very nice restaurant where you can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee or a dinner.
Trolling: Swedens best trolling lake! Book your fishing guide service by Fiskeland Dalsland or Dalslands fishing. In Vänern which is Swedens largest lake you do not need a fishing license.
Hiking: Pilgrim Trail - From Holm church outside Mellerud to Edsleskogs church in Åmåls municipality. Karl XII:s path - From Dals Rostock over Kroppefjäll to Järbo.
Places to visit: Dalslands channel / Håverud-Upperud where you can also rent boats, canoes, kayaks or book excursions with sightseeing boats.
Swimming: You can swim at the popular shallow Vita Sannars sandy beach where there is also a heated pool. Rådahallen in Mellerud provides opportunities for swimming all year round.
