Description
The Captains house at Kärlingesund Farm is from 1884 and the ground floor has been carefully renovated 2013-14 to keep its original style. It has four beautiful rooms with 3 meter high ceilings and a large, beautiful kitchen heading south. Here you stay in the middle of Kärlingesunds lush nature reserve, 220 meters to the sea and Nordströmmarna, known to be one of the worlds best waters for paddling. The Captains house is next to Kärlingesund hostel.
The house has six beds in three beautiful bedrooms. Extra mattresses are available to rent. In the combined dining room/kitchen there is place for about 20 people to dine. Extra tables and chairs can be borrowed from the hostel.
Cows and horses graze among the oak groves in the nature reserve which surrounds the farm.
