Description
Nice house on a hillside (westward direction) giving you a panorama view of the landscape in front of it. Here you can see the midnight summer sun shine over the valleys or the aurora lights from the living room or kitchen through the big windows. The house is fully equipped with excellent standards so you live as comfortable as you do at home.
Sunny garden place just outside the kitchen (west direction). Very good mobile and internet coverage with 4G (tested operators include Comviq and Telia which offer cash cards).

The house is centrally located in the region and you can reach popular destinations in all directions. Road E45 - Jokkmokk, Porjus, Lule river valley, Sarek, Road E10 - Jukkasjärvi, Kiruna, Haparanda Finland, or south to the costal area with Kalix and Luleå.

The house is located in the middle of a region, where a big historical Sami village once operated - the Sjokksjokk sami village. The region bear many traces from this time. Still today there are a lot of reindeer in the forests and active herders.

If you like fishing after trout, grayling and arctic char then this is a good place. There are 2 rivers close to the house, or you can for instance drive shortly to the Sotaure location with some 200 yards between each lake. Many lakes have shallow sandy shores and clear water where you can take a bath.

We recommend using a car - your own or a rental car. There are a lot of reindeer in the region all year round - so drive carefully.

Directions
There are a lot of roads leading here. From road E45 - drive east towards Messaure and thereafter Nattavaara (drive through Nattavaara about 3 km to Nattavaaraby). From road E10 - drive west against Nattavaara / Purnu. From Gällivare you take the Nattavaara road (currently completely re-coated - so take E10 instead meanwhile). From road 97 (Luleå - Jokkmokk road) drive in through Vuollerim and towards Porsi and Messaure, turn right towards Nattavaara (drive through 3km to reach Nattavaaraby). When you arrive in Nattavaaraby - you drive up on the mountain about 400 yards (Byvägen) and turn down just by the soccer field / kindergarden (big red house) and drive some 50 meters in.
There are 3 airports we recommend - Kiruna, Luleå and Gällivare. Some have really decent fare prices with e.g. Norwegian airlines and cheap rental cars.
