Our summer house has a lovely location between the forest and open fields. Build as a farm house in the early part of last century it has remained its original charm. Close to Stockholm Skavsta Airport, Nyköping Town and the archipelago.

The main building comfortable accommodates a family or a group a friends. On the ground floor there is a large living room, a kitchen and bathroom and two bed rooms upstairs. The kitchen and living room each have one stove. Fire wood is supplied. A recent addition is a porch in front of the house with great views of the garden and surroundings. A nice place to sit if the evening is chilly.

In a field next to the house we have this year 3 sheep and 5 lambs. They are social and friendly and let you pet them.

In a corner of the Janstorp grounds your hosts may be busy with gardening if the weather is good. But rest a sure, the garden is large and there is plenty of room for privacy.

There are bicycles for guests to borrow. We also have a bike with baby seat and a bicycle trailer carrying one or two toddlers or your groceries.

At times your host family will be staying in a small cottage on the Janstorp grounds and ready to help you with what you may need. Marinus and Anette live in nearby Nyköping and are easy to reach.

Between open fields and the forest Janstorp has a perfect location. Its totally secluded with its nearest neighbour one kilometre away, yet its only 7 km to the centre of Nyköping town and a short bicycle ride to the beach.

Deers, foxes, pheasants and eagles visit regularly. Elks and boars are more shy but inhabit the nearby forest. From July and onwards berries and mushrooms are plentiful.

The nearest beach is 3 km away (an even better one 4 km). Supermarket 4 km, bus stop 3 km, central Nyköping 6 km, Stockholm Skavsta Airport 15 km, central Stockholm 110 km.
