Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home.

Warm welcome to our cozy little cottage Sofiero. 2018 the cottage was renovated and has a good standard. In Sofiero there are up to 6 sleeping places, 2 extra sleeping places are available in a nearby cabin. We can accommodate up to 8 persons. Sofiero is located in the countryside in Småland, 4 kilometres from Linneryd in the village Fryggestorp.
The space
The house Sofiero has two floors, the lower floor consists of a kitchen, a toilet with toilet and a large living room.
The kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. In the kitchen there is a dining table with room for 8 people. If you need a high chair, there is one to borrow.
The living room is large with room for a cozy sofa corner where you can sit and check on the fire in the fireplace. Relax on the couch, read a book, enjoy the tranquility, or use the WIFI PROVIDED in the cabin.

On the upper floor, the sleeping areas are located, a double bed (sleeps 2) and a crib is available in the living room. Upstairs, there are also 2 separate bedrooms, with two single beds in each room.

Outside Sofiero there is a wooden deck with outdoor furniture and a possibility to barbeque in your own barbeque. The cottage is surrounded by a large lawn.

In the small cottage, which is connected to Sofiero, there is a living room with a sofa bed (sleeps 2). There is also one toilet with toilet, one sauna and one shower.
Notice that the shower is only in the small cottage.

Other things to note
The nearest major city is Växjö (about 4 miles), smaller nearby central resorts are Tingsryd (about 2 miles) and Lessebo (about 2 miles).
A smaller grocery store is in Linneryd (4 km).

It is about 600 meters to the nearest lake; Linnerydsjön, where there is also a barbecue area you can use. If you want to swim, I recommend the swimming area at Linneryds camping which is 3 km away.
Fishing licenses are available to buy and the lake houses fish species such as pike, perch, roach, bream, ruda and sutare.

The nearest nature reserve is only three kilometers from the house and 4 km away is Kyrkviken in Linneryd where you can hike, fish and swim. The emigrant trail and Sigfridleden are hiking trails that offer nature experiences and you can hike a stage that you choose.

The winding roads in the landscape invite you to hop on the bike and explore the surroundings. In Korrö craft village 3.5km away you can rent canoes and eat a meal in the reputable restaurant. The Kingdom of Glass invites to one of the worlds most famous glassworks, about 2 miles away. You will find the moose park in Kosta, 30 km away, and to the glass kingdom moose park in Nybro it is 50 km. At Börjes department store in Tingsryd, 25 km away, you can drink one of Swedens cheapest cup of coffee and at Kosta Outlet, 30 km, you can try blowing glasses, buying cheap clothes, books, toys and ceramics.

About an hours drive away there is the sea, Öland, Kalmar, the world heritage town of Karlskrona and Karlshamn with its beautiful archipelago with swimming and many and many other excursions e.g. Childrens farm (amusement park for children of all ages), Kalmar Castle, Marine Museum in Karlskrona, Ronneby brunnspark, Eriksberg nature and game Park, Kreativum Sience Center, and of course all beautiful seaside resorts.

The primary rental of the house is between Sunday to Sunday. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 PM. You can also rent the house per day, for more information please contact us!

The house is cleaned before departure by tenants or can be ordered in connection with booking for 1400 SEK.
