Description
Room with kitchen on a countryside farm at the nature preserve Brattforsheden, with lakes and hiking trails nearby. Its not far from the ski slope Dammsjöhöjden at Filipstad. The old school where the apartment is, is situated right next to the edge of the forest with a great view over the large meadow where cranes sing in the spring and where wild geese graze. Dogs with leashes are welcome. If youd like to bring a horse we can provide a pasture for it. Simple standard, but close to nature. For those whod like to relax and forget the day-to-day life completely.

The bedroom has one double and one single bed, a large wardrobe, a desk and a little cabinet. In the kitchen there is a table and four chairs. The place is heated by a fireplace and a wood-fired stove. Food can be cooked either on the wood-fired stove or on the electric stove. There is electricity, but no running water. There is cold water outside. Theres also a kitchen sink and an outhouse.

We have a wood-fired bathtub with a view of the meadow wich you can rent; otherwise you can use the little sun-heated shower wich gives you hot water when the sun is up. Or you can use the watering can for a nice outdoor shower.

Cold food can be stored in the underground storeroom next to the school.

Bed linen can be rented for 50 kr per set. A large bag of firewood is included.
