Description
If you want to experience nature, you should go to Foskros fjällby northwest of Idre. Adventures or peace and quiet, it’s up to you!
In the fall the mountains burst into color. Go hiking, pick cloudberries or other berries. Enjoy the stillness, the fresh air and relax in front of the fireplace in the cabin.
During the winter season there are ski tracks on Långfjället, 200 m from the cabin. If you have a scooter you can drive all the way to Grövelsjön. If you want to do downhill skiing, Idre Fjäll is about 20 min away by car.
Experience the spring and summer by hiking on Långfjället and accompany a herd of reindeer in the fresh crisp air. Go fishing in Storån or in any of the lakes close by, where there is plenty of trout, arctic char, grayling and bass.
Do not miss out on hiking around Njupeskärsfallet, the highest waterfall in Sweden. If you are lucky you might see the gyrfalcon hovering above the mountains. Go paddling, horseback riding, bicycling or why not try white-water rafting. If you play golf, one of the most beautiful golf courses in Sweden is only 15 minutes from the village by car.
The cabin is situated in a cabin village but has its own yard. The cabin is very cosy, with sauna, fireplace, books and board games. There are two bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a double bed. Max. 4 people.
Due to allergy no dogs or smokers are allowed.
