An idyllic place at Lake Mien in southern Småland with a magnificent view over the lake Mien. With private beach.

A small cottage with room for two - four people at Lake Mien southern shore.
The cottage, built in 2003, is beautifully situated on a hill with spectacular views.
There is a small fine sandy beach with jetty and 2 rafts where it is possible to swim.
The private sandybeach is only 50m from the house.
A rowingboat or a canoe is included in the price.
It is an open plan with a room with a small kitchenette (fridge and a freeze compartiment), a bunkbed and a sofa bed for two persons.
A bathroom with shower and toilet.

Outside there is an open area with outdoor furniture for glorious moments.
The cottage is 60m close to the owners house, but its very private.
There is a grill.
In the forests you may see mooses, deers and other animals. When the season is there you can pick blueberrys, lingonberrys and wild mushrooms. If you like to go fishing in Mien you need a fishing card which can be bought in Tingsryd at the turist information or att the owner of the cottage or on the internet(http://www.ifiske.se/fiskekort-mien.htm).
The type of fish you can catch are perch, pike, pike-perch, Freshwater Brown Trout and other fish sorts. In the surroundings there are walkingtrails and bicycletrails.
There is a small sandy beach where swimming is possible.

Mien is a large lake in the south of Småland, about 20 km2. Mien is almost round as a circle and is build after a meteorite hit the earth about 120 miljoner years ago. In the middel of the lake is an island called Ramsö. (link to www.miensfvo.se).
