Here you will find the patio, the dock with a swimming ladder, the sauna, the hot tub and a fire pit with a grill. Boat, etc. are included in the rent. Sunset over the lake! The rent also includes that you can freely use a rowing boat and canoe. In addition, there is a floating dock with an electric motor for a nice, quiet trip across the water. The raft is well suited for fishing and is equipped with furniture, a fireplace for grilling, etc. The cottage guest also has, by arrangement, access to the wood-fired hot tub and an exclusive wood-fired sauna. On the old mill property there are a total of about a dozen timbered buildings, which give the farm the character of a genuine valley environment in the 19th century style. Enskvarn is like its own small village in the middle of the forest. There is peace and quiet here, but only a quarter of a drive from central Rättvik. The log cabin (a single large room in the old-fashioned style) has a comfortable double bed and is equipped with a dining table, chairs and various storage spaces. Through the entrance (fully glazed double doors) facing the lake you have a view of the water. The outdoor kitchen (under the roof) is equipped with, among other things, a fridge and freezer, stove/oven and coffee maker as well as necessary kitchen utensils, crockery, etc., as well as a radio, cleaning equipment, etc. Broadband connection via Wifi. Car parking is available right next to the cottage. 200 meters away there is another swimming area at the beautiful water lily-strewn mill pond, upstream of Enskvarn. Good perch and pike fishing in the lake (fishing license required). Fine rainbow water is found in a forest lake 15 minutes walk away (1,000 meters). A beautiful stream runs through the lake-rich, picturesque forest landscape, as well as an adorable canal. The area is very scenic and rich in birds. Around 100 species of birds have been observed here. In the immediate vicinity there are several smaller lakes and streams with good fishing, including grayling and noble fish fishing waters. The terrain is varied with many walking and forest paths. (Siljansleden connects). Good berry and mushroom fields. In the immediate area around Övre- and Nedre Gärdsjö there are many cultural attractions and places to visit. The nearest grocery store and gas station are in Boda Kyrkby, 7 km north along road 301. We are 15 minutes by car from Classic Car Week, Music at Siljan, Dalhalla and other large events. The host couple speaks English and German. The cottage is preferably booked Sunday-Sunday. It is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be left no later than 11 am on the day of departure, when the cottage must also be cleaned. The host provides household and toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, cleaning agents, cleaning equipment, etc. Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided. Guests bring their own bed linen and towels. Guest access Firewood is free for heating the sauna and hot tub, as well as for lighting a fire on the patio, in the grill, etc. Internet access details are provided at check-in. Other things to note Please note that the cleaning fee is not included in the basic price. The host expects you to leave the cottage well-cleaned and in good condition.
