Rent the upper floor of this turn-of-the-century house on the island of Harstena in the Gryt archipelago. The house is located in the southern part of the village and has a pleasant west-facing balcony with views over the village and the bay closest to the harbor. Private entrance, sea view, two rooms and a kitchen plus two sleeping alcoves and a toilet/washroom. Short-term weekly rentals are also available; see the website for details.
The sea is about 200 meters away. Rowboats are available for rent for swimming or fishing trips to nearby islands.
Harstena is an island in the outer part of the Gryt archipelago. In summer, there is a restaurant, fish smokehouse, kiosk, and bakery. It is also a nice island for families with children and for a peaceful, car-free holiday.

Directions
Take the E22 to Valdemarsvik. Take road 212, pass through Valdemarsvik, and continue towards Gryt. Follow the road through the village of Gryt until you reach Fyrudden.
During the summer, the archipelago boat Ellen af Harstena departs from Fyrudden's harbor to Harstena at 10:00 every day.
Book in advance if you want a spot on the boat.
Close by
Fishing: 50 m to the beach. There are, among others, pike and perch.
Sea: Harstena is located at the outer edge towards the sea; the next mainland is Gotland or the Baltics.
Restaurant: In the leisure boat harbor 500 m away is Restaurant Loftet.
Archipelago: Located in the outer part of the Gryt Archipelago.
Beach: About 50 m.
