With a net of small roads, Österlen is perfect for cycling. Nowadays there are biking trails both North and South of Juleboda. The South-Eastern trail goes between Växjö and Simrishamn.
To hike and experience is also shared pleasure, www.skaneleden.se. Dont forget Stenshuvud, a national park of Sweden, that can be seen from the Southern beach.
For those interested in golf its 7 km to the closest golf course, more golf courses within 20 km.
Österlen is famous for its wonderful nature.
Along the coast there are several picturesque villages with bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and farm boutiques and more.
Perhaps you want to experience the past by taking the steam train between Brösarp and S:t Olof or go by draisine in Fyledalen or S:t Olof.
WHile Österlen is famous for its fruit farms, dont miss the apple market in Kivik the last weekend in September.
FOr the children theres an animal park on Hallonlunda farm outside Ystad and Scania Animal Park outside Höör.
Tosselilla Summer land outside Tomelilla offers several activities.
The summer house has parabolic antenna for German TV.
