Small luxurious cottage with a beautiful view of the Björköfjorden, available for weekly rental. Close to salty baths in a cozy archipelago environment.
The cottage, which is newly renovated, consists of an airy living room with a sofa bed and a sleeping loft with two beds. The bathroom has a shower, is fully tiled, and has a combined washer/dryer. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and stove with a convection oven. Underfloor heating is available throughout the cottage.

The cottage has direct access to a large terrace with outdoor furniture, access to a grill, and a beautiful sea view.
On Hälsö, there is a cozy little restaurant, Hälsö Brygga, and the northern archipelagos most beautiful hiking trail, about 2.5 km long, for recreation and exercise. If you want more life and movement, a trip to Hönö Klåva is recommended, with its charming shops and restaurants along the docks. From Hälsö, you can easily reach Öckerös northernmost islands (Källö-Knippla, Hyppeln, and Rörö) by ferry, free of charge.
Several opportunities for swimming are available on the island within walking distance, both on rocks and on the beach.

Directions
To get to Hälsö by car from Gothenburg, take road 155 with signage towards Öckerö. At Lilla Varholmen, take the free car ferry to Hönö and then there are bridge connections between Hönö, Öckerö, and Hälsö. Alternatively, take bus 290 from Gothenburg directly to Hälsö harbor at certain times, especially during rush hour, or Röd Express, which goes to Lilla Varholmen, ferry to Hönö Pinan, and then bus X1 to Hälsö harbor. From the bus stop, it is then a 5-7 minute walk to the cottage on Varvsvägen 21. Alternative bus connections are available, see Västtrafiks travel planner.
