Description
Take a walk to the lake for a bath or go to Gårdsjö Elk Park. Relax in the wood-heated sauna in the cottage. You will be staying in a beautiful cultural landscape with a perfect setting for experiencing nature. Deer and cranes are often sighted, and occasionally elks too. There are excellent walking paths near forests and lakes. Go fishing with the rowing boat or follow the forest path to the bewitching woodland mere and scents of wild rosemary. You can also go cycling around the lake and take take a picnic break at some of the bathing places.

The cottage was tastefully renovated in 2015 and consists of 4 rooms and a well-equipped kitchen with a firewood/electric stove and microwave oven. There is a wood-heated sauna next to the living room. 2 Tiled bathroom with shower and toilet.

The cottage is located on a farm and there is a secluded outdoor area with a grill. There are sheep and cats on the farm. Rowing boat are for rent.

Close-by attractions: Gårdsjö Elk Park, Sala Silver Mine, Sätra Brunn, the parks in Enköping, Färnebofjärden national park, Uppsala Cathedral and Gysinge ironworks area.

The cottage is perfect for staying a night or two, vacation weeks or just for people who want to spend a weekend in the countryside. There is secure parking for anyone who might need to spend a night here while on duty.

Directions
Road 72 from Uppsala to Sala. Turn right after Morgongåva when reaching the sign for Molnebo/Elk park. Follow that road for about 4 km, follow the right lane in Molnebo in the direction of Östfora, go on for about 2 km through Vansjö village. After about 400 meters, turn left when reaching the sign for Tega.
If you arrive from road 72 from Sala, drive for about 4 km after Heby, passing a garden centre on the left, then turn left in the direction of Molnebo/Elk park. After that, drive according to the description above.
