Probably the best location on Dalarö — sunny and open southwest-facing position, with a magnificent view over the bay, tranquil sunsets, and secluded privacy, yet within comfortable walking distance to Dalarö village with its lively summer atmosphere.

Charming accommodation in a house of approximately 130 m², originally built in the 1860s, with an added upper floor around 1900, featuring two floors with classic punsch verandas typical of merchant villas. Tastefully decorated rooms in turn-of-the-century character. A total of 6 rooms and a kitchen, including 4 bedrooms and 2 punsch verandas. Small modern bathroom with toilet and shower. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV & DVD, CD/radio stereo, and WiFi (fiber broadband).

Several furnished outdoor terraces by the house, at the scenic lookout point, and by the water. One private parking space is included. The large family-friendly garden of approximately 4000 m² is naturally secluded, with a boathouse, jetty, and a small sandy beach shared with the residents of the second house on the property. Excellent opportunities for swimming, diving, and fishing from the beach, jetty, or the lovely quay.

Possibility to moor a small motorboat at the jetty, and a perfect slip for kayaks or sailing dinghies. The garden is an adventurous playground for children, with toys for the youngest guests. There are also old bicycles to borrow.

The boathouse sauna is wood-fired, with a changing room and simple social area, shared with the other house on the property.

Despite the tranquil location, the property is close to all amenities in Dalarö village: well-stocked ICA supermarket, greengrocer, clothing shop, restaurants, hotel, bakery, café, kiosk, delicatessen, fishmonger, and gift shops. The picturesque village features old wooden houses, gravel roads, and harbor views, perfect for leisurely strolls.

For sports and wellness enthusiasts, Smådalarö Gård (5 km) offers padel, gym, and yoga classes (see Smådalarö Gård activities). The surrounding nature provides opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, and exploring the archipelago islands, such as Utö (reachable by boat from Årsta Havsbad, 20 km away – see Utö travel information).

During summer, there are also some archipelago boat tours departing directly from Dalarö, operated by Waxholmsbolaget and other local services — check Dalarö tourist information closer to the season.

Directions
42 km by car (Route 73 + scenic country road) from Stockholm.

From Stockholm, drive south on Route 73 (Nynäsvägen). After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Dalarö just after Handen (Route 227). Follow the road all the way to Dalarö ferry pier (Hotellbryggan). Turn right past the petrol station/kiosk onto the gravel quay road, and continue approximately 200 meters to the gate and private parking space.

Note: No car ferry connection.

There are also excellent public transport options: bus 839 combined with commuter train from Stockholm or Handen/Haninge Centre to Dalarö Hotellbrygga + Dalarö Strandväg (300 meters from the house). The bus runs approximately once per hour during summer.
