The district is well suited to cycling trips with numerous bike friendly country roads. Maps and directions can be organised.
Day trip to Hällekis on the Kinnekulle train or Borås Zoo can be taken from Vedum train station.
Attractions such as Skara Sommarland (50km) or Liseberg in Gothenburg (100km) are possible by car.
