Description
This small cottage of approximately 65 sq m is situated at an elevation, offering a lake view and facing west in the direction of the sun during the day and evening. The cottage was fully renovated in 2008 and consists of one bathroom with shower and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and microwave oven, two bedrooms with a double bed and a bunk bed, respectively (both with comfortable mattresses) and a living room. The design of the living room is spacious and it connects to the kitchen area. There is a sofa bed in the kitchen with space for two people. There is also a veranda facing west, and there is a grill.
About 16 km away is Eskilstuna with Parken Zoo, good shopping and bath. Västerås is 26 km away. Strömsholm is approximately 20 km away, and there you can find the Jazz Museum, where excellent concerts are held between June and August. Here you can also find Strömsholm castle with a shop and a café.
The host family is living in connection to the cottage, and they will help out with more information on sights and events in the area if needed.
