Self-catering, which means cleaning before departure by the tenant and bringing of your own bed linen and towels (can be provided upon an extra charge).

Österlen offers a rich holiday selection. From the cottage its close to Kåseberga, a picturesque fishing bay with smokehouse, café and restaurant and Ale Rocks - with the most famous rocks of Sweden in the shape of ship/solar calendar and a wonderful view.

Youre also close to popular Hammar hills with their para-gliders and the lovely Backåkra of Dag Hammarskjöld with the peaceful meditation ring.

There are miles-wide white sandy beaches and one of the prettiest in Sweden, Sandhammaren, which is only 10 km from the cottage. The area offers great hiking trails, art galleries, the popular stone oven bakery Olof Viktors, the nice antiquarian of Ingelstorp, cool designer shopping, famous medieval castle Glimmingehus, fishing, golf and of course stroll-friendly Ystad with its exciting supply of historic buildings, shops, restaurants, art and concerts.

Within the radius of 5 km there are at least 10 restaurants of different price ranges, top class as well as places with buffets, fish, traditional Swedish, Thai and pizza. Plus several cafés,

Directions
Find Vallshög from Ystad. Follow road 9 towards Simrishamn, then turn to the right by the sign Ingelstorp/Olof Viktors and drive about 5 km. Take a right by Valleberga church towards Kåseberga, Peppinge and drive 1,5 km. Take left by the sign Vallshög, after 400 meter you are there. With the flag or the pennant always in the top.
