Description
The cottage was built in 1892 and was carefully renovated with preserved mirror doors, wood stove and baking oven. The cottage has undisturbed and no insight location on the farm.
The backside has a lush little garden, the frontside offers lake views. Here you can enjoy the evening sun. Cozy little beach is 200m down the lake. Access to rowboat.
The cottage is equipped with 2 hotplates, micro, fridge, small freezer, coffee machine, toaster, hot and cold water.
Good internet coverage.
On the downstairs there is a kitchen, bedroom with 1 single bed and living / dining area with 1 double sofa bed (sleeps 2). Upstairs consists of a large family room with TV, 2 single beds and 1 double bed. The beds separated by wall. The upstairs has a narrow staircase that can be difficult for the smallest and the oldest. Around the house there is outhouse and outdoor shower with hot water.
It is 13 km alternatively 6 km to the nearest bus communication. 15 km to the ICA store in Brottby. 13 km to Brollsta golf course which also has a restaurant in summertime. Vira bruk, an old village, is 8 km away and lake Largen with nice beaches 6 km. We do not rent for a party, the village is for you / who wants to get out in the countryside, enjoy nature and relax. If you want a different rental period than a week then send us a mail. Everything from a day to long time.
Directions
E18 north from Stockholm towards Norrtälje. Turn east at Brottby. Follow the road 5 km - turn right at sign Rumsättra (you drive down towards Brollsta golf) - turn right again at sign Rumsättra - follow this road 8 km, then you will see a yellow sign on the left with Oqvista. Turn in there and follow about 200 m. To the left you will see Oqvista farm. Turn down onto the courtyard.
