LAKE DISTRICT
Welcome in Ekenäs in lake district Dalsland-Värmland.
Ekenäs is a small village situated close to the middle east shore of lake Lelång between Bentgstfors and Lennartsfors – 5km north of Gustavsfors. The lake is connected to Dalslands Canal, which stretches from the lake Vänern to the Norwegian border. The district is known as a wild life area with wolf, lynx, brown bears and elks.
THE HOUSE
The house Näset is located 90m from the beach overlooking the lake and surrounding meadow.
Quiet location with the nearest neighbour 100m away in the forest on the other side road.
From the house there is a private path to the bathing area and the boathouse.
The house was built in 1939 and has earlier been a place for the family. The house is renovated in a style typical of the period when it was built. The location is peaceful and calm. The nearest neighbour is 70m in the forest on the opposite side of the road. You have your private path to the lake with the bath place and the boat-house. The kitchen and one of the bed- rooms in the upper floor looks on the lake. Towards south is a paved terrace with the view of the lake and the surrounding meadows. Grill and garden furniture and garden umbrella on the terrace.
STANDARD
Living space: 80m² 2 floors
Bottom floor: Hall, kitchen, small bedroom, living room
Upper floor: Hall, 2 bedrooms, entrance to toilet and shower from one of the bedrooms.
All rooms have electric heating in case of cold weather.
Hot and cold water. Deep-drilled well ensures water supply in dry weather
Washing machine in the basement.
Kitchen: sink, fridge and freezer, cooker with oven, coffee maker, toaster and micro wave oven,
table for 4-5 persons
Bedrooms: 2 beds (90cm width) in each room - can be used as single or put together as a double bed. In the small room on first floor there is a single 80cm bed. To protect from mosquitoes when windows are open, there are net windows available for the bedrooms.
The bedrooms have windows in east and west and the small bedroom on first floor has window to south. All bedrooms have dark blinders to protect for the light.

For an extra fee, we can make the end cleaning for you.
SMOKING/PETS
We would like all of our guests to feel comfortable in our houses.
Therefore you can only smoke outside the houses and dogs and pets are not allowed to bring.
BOAT/ENGINE
Rowing boat in a boat-house is included. We have 4-stroke boat engine for rent per day or per week.
For taking trips on the lake by boat, we recommend that you use life vests.
We have several vests in different sizes and you can borrow free of charge from us.

We send the booking confirmation to your e-mail.
The latest 10 days after the confirmation we will take a deposit of 15% of total price. The remaining rent will be taken latest 30 days before arrival.
Everything in IBAN payment
Payments after arrival is cash only.
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive your deposit back.
If you cancel 30 days or less before the booked day of arrival, we will keep 90% of the total rental price.
With a cancellation less than 10 days before arrival you will not receive any refund.
A cancellation due to illness must be confirmed with a medical certificate.
