Description
We have a small cabin with wonderful location, only 100 m from Åkershus Bay. It is located at the end of Värmlandsnäs, 4 miles from Säffle and is suitable for 2 persons.
It is 100 m to swimming with shallow water and a sandy beach, just go down directly with your swimwear on.
It is also very nice to kayak among the many beautiful islands nearby. (Can be rented in Ekenäs harbour, 1 km away). The archipelago is incredibly beautiful here.
The cottage has a bedroom with 2 good beds and a kitchen. 1 extra bed for a child can be arranged. In the cottage there is a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and hotplates. Bottled water is delivered to the house or can be picked up nearby. The cottage has a nice outdoor toilet, but no bathroom. Shower facility and washing machine are available in Ekenäs guest harbor for a small fee. (If you want a cabin with more comfort, we also have a larger, very well-equipped one 100 m from Lake Vänern.)
The nice location makes up well for the simple standard.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT:
The cabin is located at lake Vänern at the end of Värmlandsnäs. It is 1 km to Ekenäs harbor. There is a restaurant with lovely outdoor seating where good hot food and alcoholic drinks are served.
Troubadour evenings, prawn fritters and barbecue buffets are organized from time to time. There is also a nice cafe, WIFI and kiosk.
Boat trips depart daily during the summer to Lurö.
There is a nice hiking trail along the water, wind shelters and barbecue areas, and if you like to pick berries, you can just go outside the house.
Other:
We also have a motorboat that can be rented. The rowing boat is free.
