Description
The cottage is located in the village of Hult, Norra Vi close to the lake Sommen (about 200 m). In a large garden there are an old farmhouse (the main building), a guesthouse and a studio. The guesthouse and the studio can be rented. The vegetable garden with a greenhouse, berry bushes and fruit trees can be used for household needs. It is located in a child-friendly garden with a trampoline.
The guesthouse was built in 1998 in an old style and is about 60 m2. The ground floor has a modern kitchen equipped with a fridge and a cooler, an electric stove, an iron stove, a dining table for 4-6 people. A freezer is available in one of the sheds. The living room has a fireplace and a seating area with a futon, which also can be used as an extra bed. There is a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs is a large open room with a double bed and a writing area. There are possibilities to have more beds.
The studio is a charming old fashioned building. The studio has a loft with a double bed and a terrace in the west. The studio room has a dining area for about 6 people, a sitting area with a sofa bed and a mini kitchen. The studio lacks water and sewer as well as a toilet. The guesthouses bathroom can be used alternatively an outdoor john.
The surroundings offer great opportunities for outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, horse riding and canoeing) in beautiful natural and cultural landscapes. The nearest swimming area with a pier and a small beach are within walking distance. There is a larger beach for children in Norra Vi (about 15 km).
A supermarket and other services are available in Österbymo about 15 km, in Eksjö (about 30 km) and in Tranås (about 30 km).
