Description
A warm welcome to our beautiful house called “number eleven”. It is a house which is very typical for the time era when it was originally constructed. It is a picturesque 19th century home with one part of the house being built way back in the 18th century. The house was completely refurbished in 2016. You will feel the history of the house but with all the modern attributes.

The house is located in the small village of Fryggestorp, located 4 kilometers outside of Linneryd, in the middle of the beautiful Småland countryside. The closest major city is Växjö which is only 30 minutes away and you will have to spend 20 min in the car to reach the towns of Tingsryd or Lessebo.

The house has two floors, four rooms, a large modern kitchen, and two restrooms both of them with showers and an amazing living room with a view. If you are lucky you will be able to spot wild animals and even moose from your lounge chair.

Your closest neighbour will be the forest and the open meadows and we live “close by” (by Småland means), only 200 metres away from you. We are here to secure that your stay will be a great experience.

You will be able to befriend the highland cattle cows and other animals nearby to your house. It is only 700 metres to the closest lake and you will also be able to borrow a wooden boat. If you want a plastic boat instead, it is available for rent at a nearby campsite. If you would like to take a swim we recommend the swimming area that is just three kilometres from the house.

Detailed description:
The house is suitable for between two and ten (twelve) persons. The floor area of the house is about 145 m².

On the first floor you will find a large, cosy, modern kitchen with large panorama windows. There is plenty of room for up to twelve persons.

For your convenience we have equipped the kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and coffee machine, and a water boiler. You will also find a 19th century furnace which is still functioning.

On the first floor you will also find a large living room where there is a bunk bed and sofa bed. You will also find a bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer.

On the second floor you will find three bedrooms with in total of eight beds. When you go up the stairs you will be welcomed by the living room with a panorama window giving you a full overview of the beautiful surroundings. You will see the original 18th century log walls throughout the living space. You will also find a tv, two lounge chairs and a sofa (which can be converted into two beds) as well as a bathroom with toilet and a shower.

In the living room you will find a sofa that can be converted into a queen size bed (for two persons)

Heating: air to air heating pump as well as electric heating. You will also find two wooden furnaces: One in the kitchen and the second one in the first floor living room space.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
Smaller pet animals are allowed but subject to agreement with us.

Pricing:
The primary rental of the house is between Saturday to Saturday . Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 PM. You can also rent the house per day, for more information please contact us!

Price:
Week Upp to 5 people 7500 SEK/week, in addition 1200 SEK per person and week.
Per day: Up to 5 people 1200 SEK, in addition 250 SEK per person and night.

Electricity and water is included in the rent charge
Smaller pets are welcome after agreement with us.
Bed sheets and towels can be supplied at a charge of 200kr/set
You will have to clean the house before your departure or it can be offered as a service by us at a charge of 1400kr. Please let us know if you would like to add this service at the time of your reservation.
A wooden boat is available for your convenience at no extra charge. If you want a plastic boat instead, it is available for rent at a nearby campsite.

Sorroundings:
Forrest, animals and open meadows is literally in your back yard. You will be able to use the public barbecue area by the lake only 700 metres from the house. A natures reserve is located only three kilometres from the house. Kyrkviken in Linneryd is located four kilometres away and there you will be able to do some hiking, fishing and swimming. Utvandrare-leden is a hiking path which offers extraordinary natural views and you can decide if you like to take on the more advanced paths or if you prefer the easier ones.

The winding roads and scenery of the area invites you to jump up on your bike and explore the surroundings. In Korrö craftsmen village you will be able to rent canoes and have a meal in the well renowned restaurant (four kilometres from the house). Glasriket (area of glass works) invites you to one of the world’s most famous glass works (the closest one is twenty kilometres away). You will find the Moose Park in Kosta (thirty kilometres away), Glass work moose park in Nybro (fifty kilometres away). Börjes supermarket in Tingsryd where you can have one of Sweden’s cheapest cup of coffee (twenty five kilometres away) and at Kosta Oulet you will be able to make a deal on glass, clothes, books, toys and ceramics (thirty kilometres away).

After spending about an hour in the car you will reach the ocean (the Baltic sea). The island of Öland is accessible by bridge without any charge, Kalmar and the UNESCO city of Karlskrona as well as Karlshamn with its beautiful archipelago where you can have a swim or visit some of the sights of the area such as Barnens gård (Children’s garden) with attractions for all ages, Kalmar castle, the marine museum in Karlskrona, Ronneby brunn, Eriksberg nature and wild park, Kreativum Science Centre and houndreds of picturesque villages with bathing opportunities.
