Welcome to the Radio Station on Häradskär – a simple cottage on the northern side of the island, at the far edge of the Gryt archipelago.

Here you stay in seclusion with views of the open sea in every direction. The cottage is situated high and free, with cliffs, sea, and horizon as your closest neighbors. The distance to the water is about 150 meters.

This is not a typical summer accommodation. There is no electricity, no running water, and no modern conveniences – but instead, you will find peace, nature, and the feeling of being far away from everything.

The cottage is suitable for those seeking tranquility, nature experiences, and a unique location in the outer archipelago. Perfect for anyone wanting to truly experience Häradskär, with proximity to the sea, the lighthouse, and the old pilot station.

The cottage has two bedrooms with a total of six beds, as well as a simple living room and kitchen with basic equipment. There is a fridge with a freezer compartment (12V). Toilet facilities are in a separate building.

Häradskär is reached by boat or kayak from the mainland. See more information below.

Directions
Transport to Häradskär is by boat from the mainland, usually from Fyrudden in the Gryt archipelago.

You can get there with your own boat or kayak. During the summer, there is also a scheduled boat from Fyrudden (Skärgårdskompaniet’s evening trip on Thursdays), where a one-way ticket can be booked for the trip.

Parking is available at Fyrudden.
