Description
Cottage with the opportunity to swim in the bay with sauna, kayaking and boat excursions, close to the archipelagos fishing waters and Klintsundet. A summer cottage with full kitchen for self-catering with a wood stove. Living room with cast iron fireplace. Bathroom with separate TC and sink, shower with wash basin. A large double bedroom and an extra bed with exit to the terrace facing south with garden furniture. A smaller bedroom with a single bed and wardrobe and the possibility of an extra mattress. There are 3 regular beds but a total of 6 beds if mattress and sofa bed for two are used.
If you dont want to use your own kitchen, you can eat breakfast and lunch at Klintsundet, about 300 m from the place.
This accommodation is a part of a lakeyard in a cove with a beach and sauna, and can be used during your stay.
In the northern middle archipelago on the northern Ljusterö, the family runs Hane, a unique marine service station and eco-grocery store with espresso cafe. 300 m above lies this cottage. Klintsundet is a gathering place for seafarers and summer visitors where many come every day for their daily intake of a latte and an ice cream and purchase the evening meal from the different range available in the eco-grocery store.
By the fuel dock and grocery store, Klintsundet also offers the possibility to rent kayaks and a fishing boat with outboard for your own trips or go on boat trips in speedboats. Here you can watch the boats and people, or fish from the jetties.

By car from Stockholm: Drive through Åkersberga and further north, after about 20 minutes take a right to Ljusterö and wait for the car ferry over to the island. Once you have arrived on the island, follow the signs for East Lagnö, which means you must turn left 2 times, after about 15-18 minutes drive you will soon be at Klintsundet. The accommodation is on the left and white signs with text Klintan - Klintsundet at the gateposts. Drive in and park on the lawn.
By Bus: Bus stop at the gate by the road outside the cottages and bus connection via Ljusterö ferry terminal is connected with the Stockholm County other public transport network. SL operates daily Klintsundet by bus 626 from Åkersberga / Danderyd Hospital. During July there is also the Archipelago bus trafficking around Ljusterö and over to the tourist attraction Wira Bruk several times a day. The nearest station specified in the schedule is Lagnö village. For more information see www.sl.se.
