Description
On Vätö about 1 hour and 20 min drive from Stockholm lies Fiskebyn. The cottage consists of a main building (50 sqm) and a guesthouse (20 sqm). The main building is open plan with large windows and sea views which gives a spacious feel. There is wood burning stove, TV, kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with washing machine and 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with single bed. In the guest house there are two rooms with bunk beds and sofa bed. There is also a TV with DVD. Around the house is the lawn and on the backside a small porch with sunny fixtures. Close to the sea and small swimming area with the dock belonging to the area. Sauna with shower is available for free at the waterfront. A supermarket is located in Harg, 10 minutes by car. The location is perfect for nice excursions in Roslagen, to Grisslehamn and Arholma or to cozy Norrtälje. From here you can also take boat trips into the archipelago.
Directions
By car: take the E18 from Stockholm towards Norrtälje. In Norrtälje drive towards Vätö 17 km. About 1200 m after Vätöbron turn left towards Dyvik and Vätö head. After 2.5 km, turn left towards Marsbacken, instead drive straight ahead, then turn right towards Fiskebyn. By bus: take bus 676 from Stockholm towards Norrtälje. Then bus 638 towards Vätö. Get off the Dyvik stop.
